Crafted Hardwoods Blackbutt is a solid engineered hardwood developed to make better use of low-value timber resources. By upcycling lower-grade material, it transforms overlooked resources into durable, long-life architectural hardwood. Designed for use across architecture, design, and construction, it can be specified wherever hardwood timber is typically used, both internally and externally. In certain applications, it can substitute higher-carbon materials such as aluminium or steel. Made entirely in Australia from rotary-peeled, PEFC-certified Blackbutt veneers, the material is bonded into dense billets using a water-based nano-resin with no added formaldehyde.
