Welded Austenitic Stainless Steel (WASS) pipes are tubular products manufactured from austenitic stainless steel grades such as 304/304L and 316/316L. They are produced by forming stainless steel strip or plate into a cylindrical shape and welding the longitudinal seam, followed by finishing processes to meet required dimensions and surface quality. WASS pipes are used for the conveyance of fluids and gases in piping systems. Owing to their austenitic microstructure, they provide excellent corrosion resistance, good weldability, and stable mechanical performance, making them suitable for applications in water supply, chemical processing, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, and HVAC systems.
